I have recently moved to Clifton Forge, VA from the greater Kansas City area with my husband Greg and children Olivia, 6 and Max, 3.  I am an energetic optimist orginally from Washington, D.C. ("grew up" on Capitol Hill), and have lived in many places some of them being Cocoa Beach, Florida, Honolulu, Hawaii and Scottsdale, Arizona.  As you can see, this is the closest I've lived to my hometown for years, so my East Coast relatives are thrilled!

Gladys (Gladie) Hopkins, first entered the real estate profession in 1975 in Nevada.  Her husband Bob was in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Nellis A.F.B. and she was insturmental in helping military families settle in the Las Vegas Area.  Subsequently, she went on to be a licensed Real estate agent in Idaho and California. 

In 1985 Gladie changed careers and went on to study for a profession in the field of Income Tax Preparation and eventually in 1994 opened her own tax practice.

Gladie and Bob settled in Lexington in 1997 to take on life as retirees.  Retirement didn't last long and Gladie's entrepren eurial skills have since seen her open three successful businesses in the Lexington area.  She has owned and operated a Bed & Breakfast, an English Tea Room and an Antique Shop. 

Gladie has always had an interest in the real estate market and decided in 2007 to renew her license as a real estate professional.

Ed grew up in Buchanan and returned to the Botetourt area after graduating from the University of Mississippi in 1972 with a degree in Business Management.  Ed has extensive experience in finance, construction and is owner of Brugh's Appraisals, where his wife, Pat, assists with day to day operations.  Ed is the proud father of two grown daughters, Valerie and Amanda.  They have provided him with two of the best grandchildren in the world.  In his spare time Ed enjoys fishing the James River and playing tennis with friends.  Ed has operated Brugh's Appraisals, Inc since 1991 and has vast experience with residential and commercial real estate appraisals and consulting.
